Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes?
No! Improper application and poor aftercare does.
Will my natural lashes fall off?
They already do but not because of the extensions. It's just more noticeable when you have extensions on.
As your natural lash grows and sheds, the extension goes with it.
How should I prepare for my lash appointment?
- avoid caffeine the day of
- clean your lashes
- don't wear eye makeup
- avoid mascara the day before
- plan your commute/arrive on time
-Â put your phone on silentÂ
- wear comfortable clothes
- use the washroom beforehand
- feel free to bring headphones
Can I wear contact lenses while getting lashes done?
You can, but your eyes may feel dry/irritated since they'll be closed for awhile and if fumes enter*. If you're getting a lash removal, please remove them prior to our appointment.

* your eyelids flutter when you talk and if you've had caffeine
Are lash extensions heavy/can you feel them?
You shouldn't be able to feel them unless they were not applied properly. Lash extensions are very thin and light. Each of your natural lashes are assessed to see which thickness/length is best for you.
Do I need to get a lash fill?
If you'd like to keep your lashes looking full/fresh, yes! Everyone has a different lash cycle but the average person has 90-120 lashes per eye and sheds 2-5 lashes daily. Usually by the third week, your set will look a little uneven due to lash growth and it won't look as full anymore. If you decide not to continue with lashes, we can do a removal*.
* we do not recommend for you to let them fall off naturally because you might look funny and there will be uneven weight distribution as your natural lash grows that could potentially be damaging
Are you close to the skytrain/bus routes?
Our Richmond studio is about a 10 minute walk from Lansdowne skytrain station.
Is there parking available?
There is pay parking nearby that can be taken off of the total cost of our lash appointment.
Can I get the lashes wet?
Yes! If you go swimming or cry, make sure you clean them after as salt will affect your retention. We recommend cleaning them everyday with a lash cleanser, even if you don't wear eye makeup. We will go over aftercare with you further during our appointment.
